Health Care
Standing for the Will of The People

Health care in Missouri is under attack. From reproductive freedom to rural hospitals; seniors to vulnerable children—Republicans in Jefferson City and Washington are making it harder to get the care we deserve. Raychel Proudie is fighting back.
Amendment 3: The Will of the People
In 2024, Missourians passed Amendment 3—a constitutional guarantee of the right to reproductive health care, including access to abortion up to fetal viability. More than 1.5 million Missourians voted YES.
But in 2025, Republican lawmakers ignored your voice and moved to overturn Amendment 3—advancing legislation to put a near-total ban back on the ballot. Their goal? To erase what we voted for.

Raychel Proudie Spoke Truth to Power

When Republicans tried to silence women, Rep. Raychel Proudie stood up.
In a now-viral floor speech seen by hundreds of thousands, she made it plain:
“My body is not the state’s property.”
Raychel didn’t back down. She stood for every woman, every Missourian, who deserves the freedom to make their own health decisions. And she’ll bring that same strength to the State Senate.

Budget Cuts Are Closing Hospitals

State and federal Republicans have slashed health care funding:
-
Missouri is at risk of losing multiple rural hospitals, already facing 7%+ cost increases and insurance contract disputes.
-
GOP-backed budget cuts threaten over $1 billion in Medicaid funding—jeopardizing care for 1 million Missourians, including:
-
Children with disabilities
-
Seniors needing home-based services
-
Pregnant women and new moms
-
These cuts aren’t just numbers—they’re lives.

Raychel Will Deliver in the Senate

Raychel Proudie is ready on day one.
As a member of the Conference Committees on Health & Senior Services and Mental Health, she’s already written, negotiated, and protected critical health care policy.
In the State Senate, she will:
-
Protect reproductive freedom and defend Amendment 3
-
Stop harmful Medicaid red tape and restore essential services
-
Fight for hospital funding, especially in underserved and rural areas
-
Champion Title X and ensure low-income access to cancer screenings, birth control, and STI treatment
-
Prioritize mental health and senior care without delay or denial

She’s not just talking. She’s been doing the work.
Raychel Proudie has the knowledge, the courage, and the experience to protect our right to health care and fight for those who can’t afford to wait.
Join us. Let’s win this—for all of Missouri.
